Greetings and Welcome to Mr Free's Humble Home. My vision for this site is that it not only serve as a means to bring forth the music that flows through, but also be a median by which the universal message may be brought to light. When I reflect on my initial motivations for my own path here on Earth (which were being refined in my late teens and early college years) I can't help but acknowledge the overwhelming sense of purpose which I knew was guiding my life in the direction of healing. At the time I was convinced I'd spend my days in Japan, Africa, and here on the reservations in the States studying under medicine men well schooled in the ancient arts of seeing the unseen and guiding the life force back toward the experience of wholeness. Ultimately, using that knowledge and practice to be a conduit by which the greatest good be done; not only healing individuals but healing communities, and eventually, if not being the source of, at least being a major factor in bringing about the unthinkable...WORLD PEACE. As farfetched as this may sound, I truly believed with every cell of my being that this was my purpose, and I would undoubtedly fulfill it. It is with great regret that I say that using the past tense. For my travels soon revealed to me that problems existed on frequencies I had yet to acknowledge. Initially this was devastating. My once compassionate self, that had embraced anyone's struggle as my own, abruptly retreated behind walls of despair. Partially as a means of self protection, but also out of a sense of frustration with the majority of the population which seized to acknowledge the fundamental imbalances surrounding them/us. It is at this point that I wish I could tell you that I was freestyling in the woods, in the heart of Kaua'i, when a strong wind picked up at my back and a vision ensued. One that detailed my calling to spread the message of Light through the medium of Hip-Hop. But that was hardly the case. In actuality, it was not until the belief of some influential friends transcended my own self inhibitions that I came to recognize the potential lying dormant within me. Waiting. Waiting to be unleashed over instrumentation. To this day my healing potential continues to eat at me as I ponder the what if's in regards to walking a hightened spiritual path. However, it is only recently that I've come to recognize the path I've chosen is indeed one of healing. May the music which flows through speak to your soul. Awakening your conscience if even on the subtlest of levels. And may this site be a place where you can check in from time to time to get some much needed light. Indeed our potential is limitless. And as frustrating and sometimes misguided as our mundane moments may seem, please do carry yourself as if you are one of Us....The Keepers of The Light. One Universal Love ~ Mr Free ~
